Become a supporter
To be able to continue our work, we appeal to all Dutch lawyers and law firms to support the work of L4L financially.
L4L is an independent Dutch foundation. To be able to continue our work, we depend entirely on donations or other forms of support.
Our supporters are mostly individual lawyers, law firms, and lawyers organizations.
Any lawyers and judges that we send on fact-finding or observation missions participate on a voluntary basis and only receive compensation for travel and lodging expenses. Law Firms, the Dutch Bar Association and the local Bar Associations generously cooperate by making their people available or by making financial contributions.
Law firms have sponsored projects for L4L.
The help of our volunteers in writing and translating letters, collecting information, translating and managing the website is of invaluable importance to us.
Incidental contributions
You can support us financially by donating us an amount of your choice. You can also authorize us to once-only debit your account by filling out the authorization form and send it to us.
Contributions to specific actions for Lawyers
It is of course also possible to financially support one or more specific actions for lawyers. For example by compensating travel and lodging expenses of lawyers participating in fact-finding or observation missions. If you or your law firm are interested in providing such support, please contact us. We will gladly discuss the possibilities with you.

Permanent support
You may also decide to support the work of L4L on a permanent basis. This will ensure the continuity of our support of lawyers in need. Permanent support can be provided as follows.
Authorize Lawyers for Lawyers
You can authorize L4L to annually collect a fixed amount from you. All you need to do is complete the standing order form and return it to us.
Make tax deductible contributions
If you annually contribute the same amount to L4L for a period of at least five years and have this certified by a civil law notary, your periodic contributions will be fully tax-deductible. If you are interested, please download the power of attorney for notarized contributions here. The arrangement applies to contributions of EUR 100 or more per year. Should you wish to use this option, please return to us the completed form along with a copy of your valid ID. Please note that the first due date you list should be at least one (1) month after the date on which we have received the form. That should give us sufficient time to have our notary process your data.
Authorize your own bank
You can of course also authorize your own bank to periodically (for example annually) transfer a fixed amount to L4L. Most banks allow you to make the arrangements electronically or by using a standing order form for that particular purpose.
